Home Improvement Loan
This is used by contractors who get you to sign papers for a home improvement project that you don't have the money for. The contractor says that he can get you a loan and starts the work. Next, you sign a bunch of papers, not knowing that you just signed a high interest loan and now you have to pay or you will lose your house. Most of the time, the contractor, who is a cheat to begin with, never ends up completing the project or does a bad job once he has a loan on your property, you have to pay anyway.
